On a personal note, you may be familiar with some of Erik's creative accomplishments. His songs have been recorded by major-label artists, including Kenny Rogers, Alison Krauss, Billy Dean, and Luther Vandross. "Buy Me a Rose" was a #1 Billboard hit and CMA nominated for Single of the Year. If you happen to be from Utah, you may also recognize Erik from his leading role "Jimmy" in the film Saturday's Warrior.

Erik is a high-honor graduate of Weber State University. Erik says, "My greatest honor in life is being a dad to wonderful children, and my greatest source of inspiration has always been my beautiful wife, Amie."
